Macro-Sorb® Foliar Increases Efficacy of Primo®

Summary

The objective of this study was to determine the efficacy of Primo® in a tank mix with Macro-Sorb® Foliar for clipping reduction of creeping bentgrass (Agrostis stolonifera L.).  This study was conducted on a mature stand of creeping bentgrass maintained as a golf course fairway at the Valentine Turfgrass Research Center, University Park, PA.  Treatments consisted of: Primo® at 0.5 fl oz./M + Urea at 0.2 lbs. N/M, Primo® at 0.25 fl oz./M, and Primo® at 0.25 fl oz./M + Macro-Sorb® Foliar at 2.0 fl oz./M.  Treatments were reapplied on 14-day intervals.  All treatments reduced clipping yields compared to the untreated control. By adding Macro-Sorb® Foliar, fresh clipping yields were reduced 35% when applied with Primo® at 0.25 fl oz./M.
